Dr. Kazim received his training at one of the most prestigious North American residency programs – the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He has specialty training under world renowned doctors such as Dr. Peter Fowler, Dr. Richard Hawkins, and Dr. Sigvard Hansen.
With over 14 years of experience in the field of internal medicine, Dr. Ghazanfari is among the region’s top specialists in internal medicine. Her practice spans over a vast spectrum ranging from specialist aesthetics to preventive care, acquired working with reputed medical centers across the Middle East.
Kane Read graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. He also has additional certification in Dry Needling, Acupuncture and Lower limb injuries. Kane worked in London. His sporting specialties include golf, football, tennis and rugby.
Juliane Boljahn, was born and raised in Germany. She graduated in 2012 at the European School for Physiotherapy in Amsterdam and is about to finish her Master’s studies in Sports Physiotherapy at Bath University in United Kingdom. She has been working for 10 years in the Gulf region mainly in sports.

This is what some of our graduates from previous batches had to say about their experiences at GMU: On joining GMU, I gained valuable insights into the latest healthcare trends and the right patient approach. The program was innovative, integrated, comprehensive and patient-centered.
The support extended by the doctors at GMU and affiliated hospitals has been invaluable. Their incessant encouragement has been crucial in helping me realize my lifelong ambition.
A unique feature of our dentistry course was that it was very clinic-centric, because of which we gained a lot of clinical exposure. After completing the course, I now feel like a competent dentist ready to take on the challenges in my field.
When I joined GMU, I came here as a shy, reserved and nervous introvert with very little knowledge. Today, I walk out of this great University as a bold, courageous and confident graduate.
GMU has been a mesmerizing experience, with great batchmates, lots of knowledge, love and discipline. It has been the best place to achieve my ambitions.
During my GMU years, I’ve had the chance to meet people from different nationalities and to appreciate their cultural diversity, which helped foster a sense of globalization. I have no words to explain how tremendous this experience has been.
The faculty at GMU not only imparted their knowledge, but also instilled in us love & curiosity for the subject.
The infrastructure at GMU and the quality of training in GMU and affiliated hospitals have been outstanding.
GMU and its affiliated teaching hospitals have the potential for greater and bigger accomplishments.
The course I studied at GMU fulfilled all the requirements to equip me as a full-fledged dentist. I feel lucky to have studied at GMU.
I graduated from GMU in 2010. Since then, I have completed my Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital and am currently doing a chief residency at Metropolitan Hospital. The last few years have taken a lot of turns but at the end of the day, the education I received at GMU is primarily responsible for where I am today.
Gulf Medical University’s motto is learn from the world, and it honestly describes my journey here perfectly. While my education was always my first priority, I have tried my best to engage in extra-curricular and cultural
activities. This has helped improve my communication skills, as well as broaden my horizon immensely.
